When you use Car Damage Advisor, we collect the following information: vehicle details you provide (make, model, year), photographs you upload for damage assessment, your email address (if you choose to receive a report via email), and payment information processed securely through Stripe.
We use your information to provide our damage assessment service, process payments, send you requested reports via email, and improve our AI analysis capabilities. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Uploaded photographs are processed in real-time for AI analysis and are not permanently stored on our servers. Images are held in temporary memory during your session and are automatically deleted after your session expires (within 2 hours).
We use the following third-party services: Google Gemini API for image analysis, Anthropic Claude API for report generation, Stripe for payment processing, and Mailgun for email delivery. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Payment information is handled directly by Stripe and never touches our servers.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can request data deletion by contacting us. As we do not permanently store photos, most data is automatically deleted after your session.
We use essential cookies to maintain your session during the estimate process. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
